BEST MATCH WEIGHT: Commercial - 157lb at the Glebe. River - 33lb of Barbel and Chub on the Stick Float to win the Soar Champs in 1997.

FAVOURITE VENUES: River Soar, Loughborough Canal, Glebe, Lakeview, Rycroft.
ANGLING AMBITIONS: To go fishing for as long as possible and fish for England, which is such a great Honour.

I’ve been Married 52 years and couldn't have done this without Mary's Support (wife). I have a good Son, Peter, who I have been going fishing with since he was 3 years old! I know I’m biased but he's now 43 and one of the most natural anglers I've ever seen, he can fish any method brilliantly. I also have a lovely Daughter Eleanor, plus my 2 grandchildren, Isla and Ethan, Peter's Children.
Fishing a World championship is Something else, an unbelievable experience where I thrive on the Pressure! Joe Roberts gave me my chance in Belgium in 2009, and I will be forever grateful.
To work with someone of the Stature of Dick Clegg is something else with whom I have so many wonderful memories, and I can honestly say that I have a wonderful relationship with the Great Man.
