Many thanks to Andy Waters for sharing these great photos of Waveney Chub, caught on cheese paste using an FD reel loaded with 6lb Supplex line. 

“Had some good chub on my local river Waveney on homemade cheese paste and doing regular after-work short sessions. Had many 3 to 4’s, a couple of 5’s and broke my PB last night – finally caught a rare Waveney six pounder after 3 years searching for one! It weighed 6lb 1oz.“

“I wandered several different sections to what I normally fish on the Waveney and was rewarded well with 11 chub with 6 of them over 4lb and topped off with a 5lb 4oz. Shame the rivers have to close when they hit top form but I couldn’t have been more pleased the way my season ended! On to the tench and bream fishing.“
