A wet, low-pressure front is something many big fish anglers keep an eye out for, as it’s often enough to get the largest fish feeding. Midlands angler Adam Riches did just that and made the most of it on a recent trip, when he landed this 17lb 3oz bream.
The fish is a new personal best for Adam and was caught from an undisclosed stillwater on heli-rigs and sweet homemade boilie hookbaits, with the fish giving the only bite of a 48-hour session just before first light. He knew as soon as he lifted into it that he’d connected with what must be a new PB and, for it to be in such great condition, was the icing on the cake.Well done Adam!
