Oxfordshire specialist angler Adam Perna, from Bicester, caught this
majestic specimen roach recently, which weighed in at 3lb 5oz!

Adam has fished hard through the Winter for a fish of this size, and
triumphed with a helicopter maggot feeder rig baited with two red maggots
and incorporating 3lb 4oz Drennan Super Specialist mono for the hooklinks.

“I started off fishing as a lad catching roach with my dad and never dreamed
I’d catch anything like this in my lifetime!” said Adam
