Spending time feeding your target fish before trying to catch it can be key to success with many species, and Aaron Marguet proved exactly why when he landed this 3lb 4oz roach.
The Kent angler was targeting a water in his home country, and after locating the fish by a fallen willow, he spent time feeding the shoal with pellets, gaining their confidence. Then, he banded a pellet to the back of a size 14 hook on a waggler rig and carefully flicked his hookbait into position, so it fell alongside his loosefeed.
Well done Aaron!
