Congratulations to Tom Scholey for winning the 2015 Drennan Knockout Cup Final after a fantastic two-day performance at Docklow Pools! 

Four finalists battled it out over two days on the Match Lake at the idyllic Herefordshire venue. They were Matt Derry, Tyrone Hull, Pete Goodman and Tom Scholey. Each had earned their place in the Final after successfully negotiating diverse rounds on the Grand Union Canal, the River Trent, Lake John and Heronbrook Fishery.

After winning Day One at Docklow with an excellent 79lb, the Pole Fishing magazine editor drew a much less fancied area on Day Two and chose a more cautious, catch everything approach. The tactic paid handsome dividends as his combined weight proved just enough to stay ahead of the chasing pack, winning him £5,000, the silver trophy and the title of Drennan Knockout Cup Champion 2015!
