This has been built by a company called iAngler in association with Drennan International (although there is also recommended tackle by most other UK brands) and is the brainchild of top specimen angler Darran Goulder. Darran was actually the winner of the Drennan Cup in 2008, and has caught colossal examples of almost all of our coarse fish species – so you can rest assured that he really knows his stuff.

Once downloaded, the iRigs Coarse App is essentially a modern day fishing reference book, available at the touch of a button to order no matter where you are, so is of course particularly useful when you are actually fishing or preparing your tactics, or even buying the right tackle items ready for a trip! This incredibly useful resource recommends the right tactics, rigs and appropriate tackle components suitable for targeting all the popular species from Barbel to Bream, Pike to Perch, Chub to Catfish! A beautifully simple navigation allows you to select from tactics, species or venue location, and there are comprehensive sections dealing with Floats, Feeders, Legers, Knots – plus a whole host of top tips from high profile anglers too.

As you can see from the screenshots – the photography involved is really first class, illustrating exactly how to set up the tackle required for your chosen tactic or rig! We’re incredibly impressed with this product, which is a major new innovation that will continue to grow.
