It’s been a great season for the pike anglers of Scotland, with numerous good fish reported from the nation’s wild waters this winter.

Cammy Mackenzie is the latest to get in on the action, landing this fish of 32lb 5oz.
It picked up his herring deadbait just as he was starting to pack up, with line suddenly pouring from his reel after a slow day. Lifting the rod, Cammy instantly knew from the power of the fish that he’d hooked something significant, and when he netted it, he couldn’t quite believe the size of the specimen laying in his net.
Well done Cammy!
