Arriving late at night with some fresh herrings, Finn targeted an underwater feature that’s produced fish for him previously. With temperatures plummeting below freezing, Finn wasn’t sure if he’d been overly optimistic of his chances.

However, line soon started peeling from his reel and he hit into what he instantly knew was a big fish. After an exciting battle he slipped the net under a huge fish of 31lb 8oz. Impressively, it’s his fifth over the 30lb mark.
