Hot on the heels of landing a rudd of 3lb exactly, Andy Waters had another session on the Fens and went one better, landing this fish of 3lb 3oz.
Strong winds made trotting a float challenging, but when he saw a large swirl as one of his free offerings of crust was taken, he cast at the fish and soon had his heart in his mouth, as he played what was clearly a very big fish. Eventually, he had a specimen he knew was a PB in the net, with this thick-set specimen his reward.
