After photographing a distinguishable one-eyed tench a few years back, Norfolk angler Stephen Gibbons has had his sights on the fish.
Well 2 years later, Stephen it at an impressive 11lb 4oz, with the fish measuring 26 inches in length. The specimen resides in a syndicate water in Stephen’s home county, where he tempted it on three fake casters hair-rigged to a size 10 hook.
A gap in the weed down the side of a long bar, 50 yards out, was the successful spot, over which he spombed a mixture of maggots, casters, and small pellets.
Well done Stephen!
