This fabulous photo shows Yorkshire’s Stuart Walker trying to keep his rod rings ice free whilst making a truly spectacular catch of Swale Chub using a Drennan Alloy Stick float, for the new Caught In the Act DVD.

Really memorable footage records Stu catching over 35 quality Chub as the snow fell around him, all on simple trotted maggot after he worked the shoal into a feeding frenzy (using Drennan Match Caty)! “It’s as if there’s a Chub making machine down there” quips Stuart on the film!

The 2 DVD set features lots of high quality angling and stunning scenery – and plenty of big fish. A terrific series of river Perch sessions culminate in the capture of a huge ‘Stripy’ on floatfished Lobworms – and there are some wonderful river Pike and Zander trips to watch.

One of the last chapters on the disc is a Chub session Bob Roberts enjoys on the River Lea – where he uses Drennan Puddlechucker floats to fish ‘Wagg & Magg’ to devastating effect…
