Steve Hemingray Tip: Improving Sink Rates of Reel Lines

A quick top tip from Drennan Team England member Steve Hemingray concerning line management:- “Sometimes, and especially in shallow water when feeder or waggler fishing, your line doesn’t always sink as well as you would like.

A great way of improving the sink rate of all reel lines is to soak your spools in water with some detergent the night before use. This degreases the line and makes it much easier to sink.
