Arron took Lee stalking for carp at Silent Woman Lakes in Dorset, and using an improvised little rig incorporating a small float and a size 16 Drennan Wide Gape Specialist hook baited with Tutti-Frutti flavoured corn, managed to outwit some lovely Carp!

Lee normally sea fishes and Arron reports he really enjoyed the coarse fishing trip – very simple tactics lowering a rig in with a 13ft Float Rod and Centrepin Reel being key.

We sat there in the long grass without chairs keeping low for 45 minutes where the float burried and he was in. He was over the moon to catch a fish on light tackle like this and it was nice to see him having fun” Arron told us.
