Casters proved to be a winning bait for Mick Lomas when he banked this fine 2lb 14oz roach.

He was fishing a northern Stillwater when the specimen took two imitation baits in conjunction with a groundbait feeder and a size 14 hook.

Mick baited his chosen swim with a pint of casters and the well-earned fish took his bait an hour after casting out.
