Young Oliver Jenkinson featured on the Drennan Website with some of his recent Perch – and bagged this fine Barbel trotting maggots before the season ended!
Ollie, who is 14, used a trotting rig recommended him by St Neots specialist angler Paul Elt to tackle the River Ivel near his home. With a Drennan Red Range 12ft Carp Waggler rod and reel and simple red maggots, he hooked and landed this wonderful 4lb 8oz Barbel.
