Martin Bowler with a 12lb 10oz floodwater barbel caught from the Hampshire Avon as featured in Angling Times recently!

A keen exponent of floodwater fishing, Martin donned chest waders to access a favourite swim which he knew offered the chance of a bite in such conditions.

Extreme conditions require a no-nonsense approach – in this case a Drennan Martin Bowler Big River Barbel 12ft 2.25lb rod and 15 ESP Syncro mainline.  A Richworth Extracta boilie wrapped in paste on a Continental Boilie hook to 12ins 15lb ESP Stripteaze hooklink completed the set up.
