Drennan Team England and seven other nations will clash as part of the Betway Fish ‘O’ Mania International this Sunday, 13th July!
This is the fourth year that the International event has been contested on Cudmore’s historic Arena Lake. Like last year, the format is a pairs competition with countries France, Holland, Hungary and Poland adding a European flavour, alongside the Home Nations of Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
Drennan Team England are once again the favourites after the pairing of Alan Scotthorne and William Raison successfully won the event last year in a gripping battle. This time around it’s Des Shipp and William Raison that are proudly flying the English flag.
Can England do their country proud and add this title to the European Championship trophy they won in Belgium last month AND the World Championship trophy they claimed last year in Poland?
Tune in to Sky Sports at 12pm on Sunday to find out, as the whole five hours will be streamed live. Or better still, why not drive to Cudmore Fisheries, just off Junction 15 of the M6 in Staffordshire, to watch the spectacle yourself!
