Drennan Sales Representative David Drake sent us some details on the 20th Annual South-West Area Trade Match – where he did well with the new Drennan AS1 Pole Floats!

The match originated with a few South West area retailers challenging the reps and agents covering the area to a match. The event has been organised and hosted by David Drake (Drennan), Mark Harper (Preston) and Norman Hugget (Diawa) ever since, attracting over 40 retailers most years! This year’s match took place at Manor Fisheries Todber in Dorset producing large winning weights and an enjoyable days fishing for all who attended!

Dave tells us he caught his fair share of fish on the day, fishing a Polemaster Margin Pole with one of the new 0.2g Alan Scotthorne AS1 pole floats at lines at 6 metres and down the edge – “Bang on for the job” remarked Dave. Best baits were meat and corn.
