A rare Black Swan inspecting a pair of Drennan Martin Bowler Specialist Barbel Rods on the Warwickshire Avon! This fabulous photo was taken by ace all round angler Gary Newman during a recent trip, where numerous fish were caught including Barbel to 10lb 13oz.

Martin Bowler had a huge role in the design and specification of our new Barbel rods – which were launched in the Summer of 2011.  There are two “Drennan Martin Bowler” models – a 12ft 1.75lb Specialist Barbel, and a 12ft 2.25lb Big River Barbel, both retailing at £169 and come complete with a bespoke padded rod sleeve to enable them to be transported made-up.
