This photo shows top match angler Darren Davies with part of a fine bag of Canal Skimmers recently – taken during practice for the recent Winter League Semi-Final on the Kennet & Avon canal in Wiltshire.

Darren caught his fish with Bloodworm and tiny bits of Dendra fished over joker and finely minced worms, up the shelf  on a 4 x 12 prototype Drennan hollow-tipped pole float, on 0.10mm Team England rig line and a 0.08mm Double Strength hooklength.
