Hinders Of Swindon customer Mike Stratford with a fine Bristol Avon Chub caught on a Drennan Specimen Plus hook.   Mike fished a syndicate stretch with Hinders owner & very experienced angler Bryan Jarrett recently, and after a number of Chub to almost 4lb was also rewarded with his first Bristol Avon Barbel, weighing around 5lb. 

After walking around half a mile of river baiting various swims with a prototype bag-mix together with Elips pellets soaked in Fish Pro liquid – they adopted a roaming approach for a really enjoyable day and plenty of bites.

End tackle was simple hair-rigged Hinders Blitz Barbel Barrells on Drennan Specimen Plus hooks on ESP Two Tone coated hook-lengths.  Both agreed it had been a great day’s sport and they finished with a well deserved pint to quench the thirst on the way home!
