ESP Consultant Kev Hewitt from Hinders of Swindon had a number of pike over the festive period with this stunner just over 18lb being the pick of the bunch.
The biggest fish of the day whilst fishing at Peterstone Fisheries in Wales was taken just two rod lengths from the bank using a simple float setup to suspend his deadbait just off the bottom.
The fish was landed on an E-Sox Piker 12ft Bait Rod and an E-Sox Snap Tackle trace which are ideal for all live and deadbait presentations. They incorporate strong treble hooks in sizes 6, 8 and 10 and in a choice of Barbed or Semi Barbed varieties.
