Shawn Kittridge from Weston-super-Mare spent an enjoyable session on the waggler to catch this impressive 46lb net of skimmers.

The catch was taken from Apex Pond in Highbridge, Somerset, after loose feeding 4mm pellets and sweetcorn around 25-30 metres out.

His setup consisted of a 13ft Matchpro Ultralight waggler rod with a lightly shotted 4BB waggler on 3lb line to a 0.10mm Fluorocarbon hooklength to a size 18 Silverfish Match hook.
